I tread carefully on a walk in a park in Arkansas; after reading the sign at the trailhead that said, “Poisonous snakes are found throughout the area.”

In the evening in Little Rock, I watched the presidential debate. In 1988 that wasn’t even Clinton in his home town, was it? (Bush and Dukakis, actually – and it was no wonder Bush won.)
